Catalina Full-Length Top Tube Bag

Want even more cargo capacity on your top tube? The Catalina is our solution to maximize space along the top tube of your bike. It's great for smaller frames or anyone who just wants to carry as much as possible on their frame.

All bags come with one internal divider and HDPE side stiffeners to keep the bag width in check and offer some organization. And they include the same strap system as our Alamo, with TPU spacer blocks to grip your frame and make this the most stable top tube bag we've ever made.

Dimensions

The Catalina comes in whatever length you need, in inch-long increments, from 17" to 26" long (43-66cm). Length is measured along the top of the bag. If in doubt, we recommend sizing up because the back of the bag can be squished into the seat tube a bit.

In the front, the width and height match our Alamo Gordo Top Tube Bag at 3.25"/90mm wide and 4.25"/110mm tall. In the back, the width tapers down to the same as our Rincon Top Tube Bag (2"/50mm), to maximize leg clearance.

All bags have a gusset cutout on the bottom rear of the bag, to improve compatibility with different frames that have large welds, gussets, etc. And the rear height is 2.75"/70mm - tall enough to be useful, but still out of the way of dropper posts.

What About Standover?

In researching and testing the Catalina, we've learned that standover is a very personal question. Whether or not a full-length top tube bag will bother you is, well, up to you. In our experience it seems like for most riders it's not a big issue, but it depends on how often you step down in front of your bike versus off to the side (or over the saddle with a dropper). And also what your tolerance might be for re-learning that skill in exchange for extra cargo space.
